My attempt at poetry

I don't post Poetry very often...but this is a special case

I wrote this last year.

Imagery is Hard
Sometimes I can't write it well
My head Really hurts.

You tell us to write a haiku
I tell you I can't write Poetry.
But you insist I try
anyway.

Frustrated I write the
Haiku on the page, trying
to be as humorous as I can.
Still you said it was good.
Like, really good.

I thank you Dr. H
for you seemed to spark
something in me,
a passion that my high school English
Teacher tried to inact.
A hiding interest in poetry.


Also other news, I have started writing a song and it is almost done. I'll post the words when I finish it.
